SUNN O))) HalfLife Fer MMXXV
We are pleased to announce the newest collaboration between SUNN O))), EarthQuaker Devices & KGR HARMONY. The HalfLife Fer features the same octave fuzz circuit as the Life Pedal V3, housed in a cast iron enclosure made using a centuries-old technique known as Nanbu-tekki (南部鉄器). Nanbu-tekki enclosures represent a unique balance of traditional Japanese craft with the best of modern design. Cast by hand at Oitomi Ironworks in Oshu City, a forge that has operated since 1848.
The HalfLife Fer is available now via SUNN O)))‘s online store in a limited edition of 200 copies.
The exclusive packaging features an embroidered patch with the Highly Irradiated Rat drawing by Savage Pencil in black and white, and an o-card with photography by Kali Malone. Art Direction by Stephen O’Malley.
